Home Sweet Home

Over the weekend I moved our birdhouse to another tree hoping that a little birdie may find it suitable enough to make a nest and raise a family.

For so long it remained vacant...lots of visitors but no takers.

Its amazing what a tree change can do!

We now have a little bird that is calling our birdhouse, home sweet home!

nestled high amongst the blossoms the redecorating has already begun...

feathers, twigs and other bits and pieces to make it more homely.

Although Im not a fan of birds I do like watching them visit our yard daily. There are so many varieties...they are so colourful and pretty. I think Mr & Mrs Willy Wagtail are the new tenants and hopefully they will be around for a while raising their family.

Home sweet home...there's no place like it!
